"LET'S GET BACK ON THE FIELD"

2021 COVID UPDATE

Oregon Youth Baseball is fully committed to providing a fun, meaningful, safe and responsible spring/summer season of baseball in accordance with county & state requirements.

On March 2, Public Health Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) issued Emergency Order #14 which went into effect on March 10. Order #14 furthers the significant updates to sports requirements in Order #13.  You can read the full order HERE & a information specific to sports HERE.

With the release of these new orders, Oregon Youth Baseball will return to play. OYB will also form travel teams to compete in area tournaments.

Per the current order, players will be required to wear a mask at all times during games*.  Each field will be able to have 500 total players & spectators in attendance, but everyone (players, coaches, volunteers, spectators & staff) must wear a mask at all times at all Oregon Youth Baseball affiliated fields and facilities*.  * = Unless an individual or activity meets exemption or exception criteria outlined in the order.

The Board will continue to closely monitor PHMDC requirements and the CDC.  If PHMDC orders change, OYB will adjust plans accordingly & provide updates to players, families and volunteers in a timely fashion.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF OREGON YOUTH BASEBALL
